Appointments at PSA RETAIL
Jean-François Perrin appointed Vice-President, Used Vehicles at PSA Retail
Loïc de la Roche appointed Vice-President, Opel-Vauxhall Business Development at PSA Retail
Jean-François Perrin, 58, has been appointed Vice-President, Used Vehicles at PSA Retail, effective 1 February 2018. He takes over from Loïc de la Roche, who on the same date becomes Vice-President, Opel-Vauxhall Business Development, a new position at PSA Retail. They both report directly to Xavier Duchemin and are members of PSA Retail’s Management Committee.
Jean-François Perrin graduated from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and took business management courses at IEA in Paris and HEC business school.
He began his career in 1985 as a financial planner and margin analyst in the management control department at Groupe PSA.
He then held a large number of career-building management positions at Automobiles Peugeot, including in manufacturing (at the Poissy plant) and Human Resources, as well as in the Scheduling, Distribution and Launch departments. He also gained retail experience heading up the Juvisy sur Orge facility outside Paris and broadened his geographic horizons serving as Assistant Vice-President of Operations at Automobiles Peugeot in Iran for three years. Since 2008, he has been the head of Scheduling, Logistics and Distribution for Peugeot’s Sales & Marketing Department, France.
Both appointments highlight how important these two areas of focus are in deploying PSA Retail's strategy to help it reach its medium- to long-term objectives for volumes and profitability.
Xavier Duchemin said: “I’m pleased that Jean-François Perrin will be joining us to head up the Used Vehicles unit at PSA Retail. His leadership skills, which I saw in action when he was in Sales & Marketing for France at Peugeot, will help PSA Retail achieve its ambitious goals in used vehicles. Loïc de la Roche has been entrusted with business development for the Opel and Vauxhall brands, an area in which Groupe PSA expects PSA Retail to perform exceptionally well."
